ANZSOC PG/ERC CONFERENCE 2010
The ANZSOC Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher Conferences will be held the day before the main ANZSOC Conference that runs from 28th to 30thSeptember 2010. This year it will be held at the Alice Springs Convention Centre on Monday 27 September 2010.
Postgraduate students and ECRs are invited to present a paper or simply attend and participate in the workshops.
There is no registration fee. You just need to come along and we'll do the rest. The day will include some presentations by postgraduate students and ECRs on their research. These will be followed by lunch, some workshops, a few drinks and then on to dinner. You will be able to meet fellow postgraduate students, early career researchers, members of the ANZSOC Committee of Management and some senior Australian criminologists. What a great opportunity!
To register (at no cost) please email the chair of the Postgraduate and ECR Committee at Roberta.Julian@utas.edu.au and let her know whether you're interested in attending and/or presenting a paper. If you wish to present a paper please send her a title and abstract of 150 - 200 words along with your contact details, institutional affiliation and level of study (e.g. Honours, Masters, PhD). While there is no cost for participants, to assist us in developing the program and for catering purposes we do need to know numbers by 2nd August 2010.
