5th ANZSOC Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher Conference

When: Tuesday 27 September 2011

Where: Four Points by Sheraton, Geelong Waterfront

The 5th ANZSOC Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher Conference 2011 will be held the day before the main ANZSOC Conference that runs from 28th to 30th September 2011. Postgraduate students and Early Career Researchers are invited to come along and present their research or simply attend and participate in the workshops. It is a great opportunity to meet fellow students, researchers, members of the ANZSOC Committee of Management and some senior Australian criminologists. The Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher day will also provide the opportunity to engage in critical discussions, gain experience presenting your research and gain valuable research tips.

The day includes presentations by Postgraduate and Honours students, workshops and a catered lunch. At the end of the day we will also enjoy some drinks and conclude the Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher Conference by heading out to dinner together.

This year Monash University along with ANZSOC are pleased to announce the inaugural Monash University Postgraduate Prize. The award will go to the postgraduate student who delivers the most outstanding presentation of criminological research either by paper or poster. The prize consists of $250 and a perpetual trophy/plaque. For more information on the award click here
